RECRO-NET AND ALCATEL-LUCENT: A LOCAL PARTNER WITH A GLOBAL REACH
May 2011, – RECRO-NET and Alcatel-Lucent, one of the leading network equipment providers in the world, have held a joint conference.
RECRO-NET and Alcatel-Lucent held a joint conference entitled “A Local Partner with a Global Reach” in Zagreb Hotel The Regent Esplanade.
The introductory speech was given by Tomislav Hrisoho, RECRO-NET’s CEO, who explained a steady increase in Alcatel-Lucent’s market share in the EMEA region. As a market leader in innovative solutions, Hrisoho highlighted, RECRO-NET pays special attention to the selection of its partners and always wishes to be first to offer best quality solutions to its customers. This was precisely one of the main reasons for the partnership between RECRO-NET and Alcatel-Lucent.
The vision of Alcatal-Lucent was presented by Vice-President of Alcatel-Lucent's Business Operations in South East Europe, Raoul Ros. He introduced a new Alcatel-Lucent business model through Sales Channel Partners. He expressed his satisfaction with the choice of RECRO-NET as a partner and pointed out that RECRO-NET was chosen as the best candidate after having undergone a comprehensive selection procedure.
The presentation entitled "High Leverage Network – Solutions for Service Providers" was given by Mario Huterer, ALU Senior Director of Business Consulting. He highlighted the importance of innovations in the very near future, which will not only alter the way we communicate, but also the entire world. The competition is incredibly fierce, Huterer said, and innovations provide a way how to “stand out” from the competition. He singled out Bell Labs, a famous Alcatel-Lucent's research laboratory, as a huge advantage. All these innovations will also become available in through RECRO-NET as a partner.
Christian Watzinger, in charge of Alcatel-Lucent’s Country Management, , Industry and Public, spoke about ALU solutions in the segment of strategic industries. For ALU, strategic industries include transport, energy and public services sectors, to which ALU offers telecommunication and turn-key solutions.
The conference was wrapped up by Aljoša Pavelin, Executive Director of RECRO-NET’s and Marketing Sector, who made it clear that this partnership fits into business vision and strategy of RECRO-NET, and underlined some vital points of synergy that will be used as a foundation in the creation of new values for customers in the Croatian market.
ALU and RECRO-NET signed a Partnership Agreement for Croatia in the beginning of 2011. RECRO-NET is currently undergoing a comprehensive certification procedure for its employees with the assistance of Alcatel-Lucent’s expertise and knowledge to use joint forces and meet local market demands. The partnership between Alcatel-Lucent and RECRO-NET represents a combination of state-of-the-art worldwide technology and local support of top-notch experts from RECRO-NET.
